World stock exchanges closed in positive territory, with Nvidia in the spotlight

On the stock markets of the USA and Europe on Thursday reigned optimism. In the U.S., the recovery was particularly noticeable due to the explosive growth of shares of Nvidia on the background of a positive financial report, writes Business Insider. Dow Jones added 1.18%, S&P 500 - 2.11%, Nasdaq - 2.96%.

Shares of Nvidia at the end of trading reached a new all-time high, rising by 16.40% to $785.38. The growth driver was the fourth-quarter earnings report released on Wednesday, which showed a 265% increase in total revenue compared to the same period in 2022. Wall Street is convinced that the company's securities could rise even more. Goldman Sachs considers them "the most important in the world", reports the publication.

Bourses in Europe grew on the background of positivity in the United States. German DAX rose by 1.47%, British FTSE 100 - by 0.29%, French CAC 40 - by 1.27%. In China, the stock market rose for the eighth consecutive session, which was the longest rally since 2020; CSI 300 added 0.9%.
