US stock exchanges rose within 1%

On American stock exchanges, Monday's trading ended with growth. Indices S & P 500 and NASDAQ, which have been falling over the past two weeks, in the last hour of trading rose by 0.57% and 1.05% respectively, Dow Jones added a symbolic 0.07%. Investors tried to compensate for the weak dynamics that prevailed since the beginning of the month - during this period, the S&P 500 lost 2.6%, NASDAQ - 4.7%, writes MarketWatch.

The restraining factor was the concern of players about the situation in the Chinese real estate sector. In addition, they fear that the inflation rate will again focus the attention of the Federal Reserve.

Today investors expect the release of data on retail sales in the U.S. for July. Experts predict their increase by 0.4%. Positive statistics can strengthen the optimism of players about the prospects of the U.S. economy and the Fed's further steps, said Ipek Ozkardeskaya, chief analyst at Swissquote, quoted by the portal.
