Due to changes in the methodology for diagnosing coronavirus in China it turned out that the number of new infections in one Wednesday exceeded 15 thousand. This weakened the enthusiasm of investors, who, in such conditions, prefer to get rid of risky assets. In addition, statistics on inflation in the US, which did not meet analysts' expectations. In January this indicator in annual terms was 2.5%, and in monthly terms 0.1%. Analysts had forecast annual inflation at 2.4%. The fall was also demonstrated by the European stock exchanges, as well responded to reports of coronavirus. At the end of the day Dax (Germany) fell 0.032%, FTSE 100 (UK) fell 1.09%, CAC 40 (France) - by 0.19%. The negative factor was also weak corporate reports released on Thursday.
