U.S. stock exchanges ended the last day of the week with a decline

The main U.S. stock indices ended Friday's trading with losses. By the end of the day Dow Jones was down 0.42%, S&P 500 - 0.21%, NASDAQ - 0.35%. The most active growth was demonstrated by JP Morgan, which rose by over 7.5%. Boeing, which shed 5.56%, and UnitedHealth, which lost 2.74%, also declined on Friday.

Gold corrected after hitting a yearly high this week, declining 1.83%. This was helped by a pullback in the dollar index, which rose 0.59%. Futures traders remain confident that the Federal Reserve will raise its key rate again in May by 25 basis points, with negative March retail sales statistics that were worse than analysts' expectations not serving as an obstacle, investing.com reported citing Reuters.
