There will be no new peaks on the European stock market – experts

Do not expect new highs on European stock exchanges, banks warn. The current measures to support the economy may prevent the fall of major European indices to March minimums, but new peaks are unlikely to be seen. Of this opinion adhered to by most of the banking strategists surveyed by Bloomberg. According to their forecasts, by the end of the year, the Euro Stoxx 50 index will slightly fall in compared with current levels and will reach 3098 points, and Euro Stoxx 600, on the contrary, will rise to 367 p. However, Bloomberg notes that experts disagree when predicting the situation on the European stock market, and this is due to uncertainty, related to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy and income individual companies. It should be noted that over the past three months, exchange European indices were able to make up for most of the losses incurred since the beginning of the outbreak.
