World stock exchanges fell on the results of the Fed meeting

Key U.S. stock indices reacted with a fall to the minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting published on Wednesday, which showed the possibility of further tightening of monetary policy. At the close, Dow Jones lost 0.52%, S&P 500 - 0.76%, Nasdaq - 1.15%. European sites ended the trading session mostly down - German DAX and British FTSE 100 fell by 0.14% and 0.44% respectively, French CAC 40 rose by 0.10%. Exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region on Thursday also fell following the U.S. market within 0.8%.

According to the document, most of the meeting participants were concerned about the inflation rate and allowed the possibility that monetary policy will be tightened further. More than 85% of analysts surveyed by CME Group believe that the regulator will not raise the key rate at the September meeting and expect it to rise to 5.75% at the end of the year.
