European stock exchanges closed on the upside on optimism around corporate reports

The main European stock indexes closed with growth on the wave of optimism of players waiting for the continuation of the publication of financial reports of major companies. Monday DAX (Germany) gained 0.71%, FTSE 100 (UK) rose 0.76% and CAC 40 (France) gained 0.83%. The reporting season continues - this week we expect results of social network Twitter, oil and gas concern Total, banks Societe Generale and Credit Suisse, Metro Group, industrial enterprise ThyssenKrupp and some others. In addition, investors' attention will be focused on such events as speeches by representatives of the Fed, the FRB and the Bank of England. Publication of data on inflation, trade balance, employment and consumer sentiment index in the United States is expected. The European Commission will release its economic forecasts and OPEC will provide its monthly oil market overview.
