Europe is approaching collapse – experts

The deindustrialization in Europe, which began against the backdrop of the energy crisis, could end with a complete halt of production in the region, Prime news agency cited by Yeni Şafak. This, in turn, would severely weaken the global economy, which has already been weakened by the coronavirus pandemic. In the worst-case scenario, the EU would face a blackout and the collapse of its political regime.

The consequences of the energy crisis, in which Europe found itself because of its policy toward Russia and the subsequent cutoff of Russian gas, threaten to be catastrophic, the publication warns. The problems with electricity will be so serious that the usual course of life will not be expected. In addition, difficulties with heating, deterioration of living conditions, disruption of transportation and other negative changes in the life of the population can provoke the collapse of the EU authorities.
