Europe faces a deeper recession than during the global crisis

The European economy may enter a more serious recession than in 2008 and 2009. This is signaled by bank indicators from the lending sector, the agency "Prime" with reference to the British news portal UnHerd.

The current recession differs from the last global crisis in that the development of the latter was gradual, but now the situation can develop very quickly. This will exacerbate the current recession, the publication notes. In addition, an alarming signal is the extremely low level of demand for credit products - it has fallen to the lowest value in history.

Despite the fact that the data on unemployment in the European region is quite positive - the indicator is very low, the European economy is not in the best condition. This is evidenced by the results of a study of the credit market, emphasizes the publication.

Meanwhile, in France, electricity will rise in price by 10%, as the country's authorities have decided to stop restraining the growth of prices for it, writes "Prime".
