Due to blackouts this summer may be fatal, Bloomberg forecasts. Stoppage of production may provoke economic shocks. According to Henning Gloestein, director at Eurasia Group, severe power outages combined with the damage previously caused by the pandemic, worsened problems with supplies and food shortages around the world can cause a humanitarian crisis. He noted that this year's power and food shortages are the highest on record in decades.
